Burble Books is the imprint of writer Robert Edwards, publishing his original poetry and prose, devoted to Brighton, Sussex and beyond.

Beech Blurt is a substantially revised second edition of a collection of portraits in poetry of beech trees – individuals, clusters, clumps, woods and forests. The settings, reaching throughout Britain and across Western Europe, are both rural and urban. With a brighter cover design, twelve new poems and several colour photographs, this new addition shows the scope of Robert Edwards’ insight and style.

W hen I first applied for the ironical publishing title Burble, it was for a single work about Brighton. So I was very surprised to receive not just one ISBN number but ten, encouraging me to work on more books and making the name a fait accompli.
